Finnish manufacturer Simucube has unleashed its next generation of direct drive wheelbases. The all-new Simucube 3 aims to set a new benchmark in the high-end direct drive market.
The new lineup introduces a host of innovations, including a revamped motor, a sophisticated new quick-release system, and advanced telemetry-based force feedback, all managed through the new Simucube Link ecosystem and Tuner 3.0 software.
For hardcore sim racers looking for the best performance and immersion, the Simucube 3 is set to be a strong challenger. Several innovative elements that improve realism, dependability, and user experience are at the heart of the Simucube 3 series.
All three models have a brand-new, purpose-built motor. The Sport and Pro models feature high-response servo motors, while the Ultimate is equipped with a novel “spoke-type” IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor, delivering exceptional torque density and responsiveness.
Key force feedback parameters can be easily adjusted on the fly without leaving the simulation, thanks to a new external control box.
The Simucube Link Quick Release with LightBridge technology is a major improvement in terms of dependability and simplicity. Even the smallest force feedback information is conveyed to the driver’s hands thanks to the strong, play-free connection. Switching steering wheels is made easier, and the sim rig is decluttered thanks to the wireless power and data transfer.
The Simucube 3’s telemetry-based force feedback adds another level of immersion. Drivers may now more accurately experience important elements like tire slip, ABS engagement, and road surface texturing thanks to this system’s translation of in-game data into subtle physical impacts.
The new Tuner 3.0 software provides a user-friendly interface for harnessing the power of the Simucube 3.
