SimXPro  – Torq GT Seat Up For Pre-Order

SimXPro Torq GT Seat

Recently, the Dutch SimXpro company has introduced its new Torq GT Sim Racing Seat, which is now up for pre-order.

The visually pleasing SimXPro Torq GT is a monolithic, rigid, bucket-style seat designed specifically for sim racing. The product is offering all the features of a real racing seat without the price premium of the safety certification.

It targets a wide range of body types, including taller or broader drivers looking for a “set-and-forget” GT seating position (upright, stable) without the flex often found in entry-level fiberglass or reclining seats.

The Torq GT Seat is made out of a Patented Reinforced Composite with a Gloss Black or Pearl White finish. Due to its high rigidity and low weight (11.2 kg), it is a good candidate for motion platforms where minimizing unsprung weight is beneficial. The Torq seat features multi-density PU (polyurethane) cushions for user comfort and stability.

The seat can be mounted via an industry-standard 290 mm Side Mount (M8 side mounting holes) and can handle a 300 kg load. (Keep in mind that the mounting Brackets or a seat slider are not included with the regular purchase.)
