VeoDrive – Sim Racing taken one step further

Veodrive Europe in Brussels came up with a rather original form of Sim Racing. Instead of racing a virtual model, the VeoDrive setup enables you to drive RC cars (called racing drones) fitted with a camera that sends out a live video feed in a driver’s seat’s perspective to a racing rig cockpit.

The company was founded by former “Privilège Formula” racing school owner Claude Chantala and his son Charles Chantala. With a team of skilled engineers, they now retail the VeoDrive system along with the tracks and cockpits to corporate customers. The racing arena’s fit in as little as 150 square meters and have the Cockpits set next to the track to create a full immersion. An 8 minutes session will cost you €6.

The first Veodrive track was build at City Kart Brussels Belgium.
