Vesaro Introduces The Dome X

The Vesaro brand is known for producing a line of high-end racing simulators aimed at those who do not have to worry about the balance of their checkbook, so it’s always interesting to see them introduce new luxury Sim Racing products.

Recently, the British brand based in Kent has introduced the Vesaro Dome X, which is an ultra-high-end, self-contained racing simulator designed to deliver a realistic motorsport environment. To do so, the Dome X is basically a fully encapsulated dome featuring a 270-degree wraparound display powered by three 4K projectors, which generate a peripheral vision far wider than traditional VR fields of view. (12k PC option available in the configurator)

Being a luxury product, the capsule features an integrated air conditioning, heating, and cooling system to keep the driver comfortable in various situations. Furthermore, the Dome-x is equipped with Game-reactive ambient lighting and a massive 9-speaker 8.1 or 9.1 integrated surround sound system.

The Stage-1 simulator chassis is built on the Vesaro X framework, powered by Dual Motion 1.5 Inch D-BOX motion actuators. In essence, 2 actuators positioned at the rear of the Vesaro chassis provide 1.5 inches of travel, for 2 degrees of freedom, pitch and roll. Higher stages of the Dome X offer a full Quad Motion system where an individual actuator controls each wheel independently. Furthermore, the system comes with a G-Force safety-belt Tensioner System + Harness.

The chassis is equipped with a Simucube 2 Sport 17 Nm Direct Drive wheel fitted with a Pro Controls V-Spec GT3 Wheel rim, a Vesaro Pro-R Pedals (2 Pedal System), an FIA-approved Corbeau Revolution X Racing Seat, and a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.

The simulator is powered by a Vesaro Level 6 Dome Spec PC system, featuring a Top Gaming Motherboard, Intel Core i9 14900K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, AIO Water Cooler with 360mm radiator, 64 GB RAM 5600MT/s DDR5, 1200W Gold powersupply, Quadro RTX Ada 4500 graphics card, and a 1TB Gen 4 NVME Drive, all preconfigured, and housed in a Vesaro X Case.

On the software side, Vesaro provides personal-use versions of Assetto Corsa and an iRacing Starter Pack. The system also comes with the Vesaro manager, a tablet-operated, touchscreen software originally designed to control commercial racing simulator networks.

The Dome X is also available in Stage 2 and Stage 3 configurations, featuring higher-tier hardware such as an Electronically Opening Rear Door, Simucube 2 Pro wheel, Vesaro Quad Motion 1.5, Pro Controls V-Spec DDU Data Display Unit, a 10-speaker Sound System, and more.
