Last week, Reiza Studios announced that the French Renault brand became a new official licensed partner for Automobilista 2.
Following this new licence agreement, the upcoming V1.6.9.8 update for AMS 2 will introduce the Renault R25, R26, and the 2008 Renault R28.
In celebration of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, Reiza has now published video footage showcasing the Renault R25 V10 around the Azure (Monaco) circuit. The car and the update are scheduled to be released at some point next week. Reiza will publish some more details regarding the new licence in the imminent AMS2 June Dev Update.
The Renault R25 is one of the most iconic and historically important Formula 1 cars of the modern era, and visually an absolute fan favorite.
The R25 competed in the 2005 Formula One season, and is best known for breaking the five-year stranglehold of Michael Schumacher and Ferrari, launching a young Fernando Alonso to his first World Championship, and bringing the Constructors’ Championship to Renault.
Powered by a Renault RS25, 3.0-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, the car developed a massive 800 to 900 horsepower at 19,000 RPM. All that brutal power was transferred to the rear wheels via a Renault 6-speed longitudinal semi-automatic gearbox.
